Delegation advice built from routines, not pep talks.

Delegation is architecture; motivation is a side effect of good architecture.

From Owner-Dependent to Owner-Absent

What the advice produces.

Delegation work looks at the decisions that pile up on the owner's desk and designs the routine that handles each of them further down. It ends with named responsibility, not a slogan.

What Usually Fails

Delegated work without rules is just passing the blame.

Every moved decision needs three things to survive: a rule for the case, a person with the authority to use it and a check that catches quiet drift. Advice that skips any of the three produces delegation that collapses in a slow month. The practice designs all three together.

If the owner still gets the call at 6pm, something was never designed — only wished away.

Next Step

Give up three calls, not the company.

Name the three decisions you would most like off your desk. That list is enough to start the conversation about a delegation engagement.
