Process
Four stages from call to handback.
The expensive part is guessing; the review removes the guess.
How the Weeks Go
Nothing is recommended before it is seen.
The stages overlap slightly in practice, but none is skipped, whatever the size of the company.
- 01
The Opening
Call or email with the rough picture, and a first meeting follows at your premises.
- 02
The Agreement
A written proposal stating scope, duration and fee, agreed before the work starts.
- 03
The Review
Interviews, observation of routines and mapping of who decides what across the company.
- 04
The Handback
The written output is walked through with you, then handed over for the company to act on.
Process Concerns
The questions that arrive before week one.
Short replies here; longer ones on the question page.
How long is a typical engagement?
Most reviews take between two and five working weeks, scaled to the size of the company, with the pace set at the proposal.
When do I see the proposal?
After the first meeting, normally within three working days, sent by email.
Who actually does the work?
Directly: the director conducts the reviews personally; larger scopes are scheduled rather than delegated.
Can my managers be involved?
Yes — one session after handback is included, where the document is discussed with the team.
Next Step
Start with the honest version of the story.
Set out the situation in plain words. You will hear an honest yes or no about whether the practice should take it on.
